Vacation to Upstate NY

This summer, my parents came to visit us in NYC. My dad took the pics the entire time, so I don't have any proof of their visit. We did tons of fun stuff while they were here - Brooklyn Bridge, Mets game, 2 Broadways - In the Heights and Wicked, China Town, SoHo and last but not least, a side trip to upstate New York. A few things we learned when we made the trip outside of the city - 1) If you are going to rent a car, rent it in Hoboken or somewhere nearby in Jersey. Our price dropped over half by renting from this city. Which brings me to my next point 2) Never, ever try to taxi from NYC to New Jersey in a yellow taxi. Just don't do it. Not worth the cost or the bargaining. Take the PATH and drag your luggage. 3) Do not even attempt to drive in New Jersey without a GPS.

Upstate NY was beautiful. We stayed in Victor and visited the LDS church history sites. Definitely a cool experience.

Hill Cumorah. I got to see the Hill Cumorah pageant TWICE.
