This week marked my last work week in California! My consulting engagement is ending, so I will no longer have to fly out once a week to North Hollywood. I am happy and sad at the same time. I will miss my client and the fun times I spent with the people at the office. However, I'm excited to get back to a normal life in Utah and move on to new clients.
This week was cold and wet in Southern CA, so we decided to spend Wednesday night indoors. We ate at a restaurant in downtown L.A.. You can't tell from the picture, but the restaurant rotated, so we could enjoy a 360 degree view of the downtown.
This picture is kinda dorky, but I thought I'd post a picture of my "house" for the last three months. This picture doesn't give it justice, but it's the Hilton Hotel at Universal City. Behind those curtains is a beautiful view of the hillside and the Universal Studios Boardwalk. One day, I'll come back on vacation and do all of the activities that I didn't get to do, due to work (Pinkberry frozen yogurt, JayLeno, Wicked, Beverly Hills... I could go on:))

I'm so sad you won't be there when we come in two weeks! So sad, but happier you finally get to kick it in one place again.
