Last weekend, my friend, Alisha (from Phoenix) and I met up in LA for a much needed break! I had a free plane ticket that was soon to expire and Corey didn't have the vacation days to come with me. So it became a super fun girls weekend! Here are some of the pics from our trip!
The Farmer's Market in Hollywood
My absolute favorite place in LA- the Grove. It's a fun outdoor shopping center with great shops and amazing restaurants! Alisha was nice enough to let me meet up with a new co-worker from Burbank for lunch. We ate at The Farm in The Grove. Amazing salads. While I was here, I also realized that everything in LA has "The" in front of it. Even the highways- "The 10," "The 405"...
I was determined to go to the beach, so we hit up Santa Monica. It was really cold! I tried to lay out so at least my legs could get sun, but by the end, we both had our hoods of our jackets on and our pant legs rolled down. Oh well, I was still happy to be at the beach.
